Bing counts a single internal anchor to /blog/the-complete-ai-job-search-guide: only /blog links to it. This adds four plain, crawlable links with "AI job search" in the anchor text, EN only (the guide has no twins yet):

  1. Home EN: "AI job search: a practical guide", under the "What is AI job search?" link (feat(home): "AI job search agent" meta and copy, link to the definition #216). H1 and hero untouched.
  2. /manifesto EN: a line right below the "What is AI job search?" block, outside both the block and the signed text: "For the practical side, read AI job search: a practical guide." The block itself stays one literal version on every surface.
  3. /docs/introduction/what-is-career-ops: one sentence at the end of "When to use career-ops".
  4. Footer, EN pages only: "AI job search guide", next to Blog.

Unchanged: titles, metas, schema, URLs and the guide itself (F4 rewrites it at the same URL on 31-oct, so these links serve it too).

Checks: npm run build, verify-agent-layer, verify-schema-parity, verify-no-future-dates, verify-i18n-seo and verify-manifesto-date pass locally. The links render on EN pages and not on /es, /es/manifesto or /fr/docs. The .md twin of what-is carries the absolute link. riesgo-search-ops: LIBRE. The canon_lint hits are on lines that already existed.

Home is a protected surface, so Santiago merges.

Summary

English readers can now reach the AI job search guide at /blog/the-complete-ai-job-search-guide from four places: the English homepage, the English manifesto, the introduction docs, and the footer on English pages. The docs link appears in “When to use career-ops” at content/docs/introduction/what-is-career-ops.mdx:28. The guide link is configured for the English homepage in src/app/_home/home-en.tsx:35-36. The manifesto link is at src/app/(en)/manifesto/page.tsx:347-350; it sits below the definition block.

The English-only footer link is in src/components/root-shell.tsx:163-166. The PR does not add translated guide links for Spanish or French pages.

The homepage change touches the shared src/app/_home components. The supplied change summary shows no changes to the agent-facing layer, routing, or schema.

Bing counted a single internal anchor to /blog/the-complete-ai-job-search-guide
(only /blog linked it). Add plain crawlable links with "AI job search" in the
anchor from the EN home, the "What is AI job search?" block on /manifesto
(outside the signed text), /docs/introduction/what-is-career-ops and the
footer of EN pages. No titles, metas, schema or URLs change.

Walkthrough

The change adds links to the AI job search guide on the home page, manifesto, introduction documentation, and English footer. The home page link appears only when its label and URL are provided.

Changes: AI Job Search Guide Links

Layer / File(s) Summary
Home page guide link
src/app/_home/home-dict.tsx:57-60, src/app/_home/home-en.tsx:35-36, src/app/_home/home-content.tsx:271-277
The home dictionary adds optional guide label and URL fields. English copy supplies them, and the home page renders the link when both are present.
Guide links on other surfaces
content/docs/introduction/what-is-career-ops.mdx:28, src/app/(en)/manifesto/page.tsx:341-353, src/components/root-shell.tsx:159-168
The introduction documentation and manifesto link to the guide. The footer link appears only for the English locale.

Full details: Frozen Strings Untouched

Explanation

PASS: The PR does not change src/lib/shared.ts or src/lib/manifesto-text.ts. The frozen strings remain at src/lib/shared.ts:20-21, src/lib/shared.ts:33-46, src/lib/shared.ts:97-98, and the English and Spanish bodies remain at src/lib/manifesto-text.ts:49-110 and src/lib/manifesto-text.ts:115-176. The reviewed diff contains no changes to these files.

Full details: No Hand-Typed Project Numbers

Explanation

No added star, member, contributor, or download count appears in the diff. The new prose adds only the guide link at content/docs/introduction/what-is-career-ops.mdx:28 and guide-link copy at src/app/_home/home-en.tsx:35, while the new comments mention one internal anchor at src/app/_home/home-dict.tsx:57-60 and src/components/root-shell.tsx:159-160. Those are not project counts.

Full details: No Personal Data

Explanation

No personal data is introduced. The changed lines add guide links and generic copy only: content/docs/introduction/what-is-career-ops.mdx:28, src/app/(en)/manifesto/page.tsx:350, src/app/_home/home-en.tsx:35, and src/components/root-shell.tsx:166. The generic “CV” references are not a real CV, and the diff adds no real email, phone number, or contact details paired with a person’s name.

Full details: Agent-Operated Pr Disclosure

Explanation

PASS: The reviewed head is authored by Santiago (santiago@me.com), not app/copilot-swe-agent. The available refs contain only the review-scoped head ref, not a copilot/* branch. Therefore the disclosure requirement is not triggered.

Full details: Translations Restamped Or Declared Stale

Explanation

The English page changed at content/docs/introduction/what-is-career-ops.mdx:28. Its .es.mdx, .fr.mdx, .de.mdx, .pt.mdx, .it.mdx, and .zh.mdx siblings exist and were not modified. The PR description mentions that the guide has no translated counterparts, but it does not declare these sibling pages stale.

Resolution

Modify each six locale sibling, or add an explicit stale-translation declaration for these pages to the PR description.

Full details: Visual Change Needs The Maintainer

Explanation

The PR changes the homepage layout: HomeContent adds a new paragraph with mt-2, which increases the definition card content and moves the stats line down at src/app/_home/home-content.tsx:271-277. English homepage data enables that element at src/app/_home/home-en.tsx:35-36, with its typography and color classes defined at src/app/_home/home-content.tsx:273. The description says that Santiago merges the protected home surface, but it does not say that a maintainer asked for this change.

Resolution

Get an explicit maintainer request or approval and state it in the PR description. Otherwise, remove the homepage link and its related homepage dictionary changes.

## When to use career-ops

career-ops is the right tool when you are running an active, structured job search — not casually browsing. It works best for candidates who have a CV they are happy with and want to tailor per application without rewriting it manually each time, who are tracking multiple applications and want a single source of truth instead of a sprawling spreadsheet, who want to apply only to roles that actually fit rather than everything vaguely relevant, and who are comfortable running commands in a terminal even if they do not write code professionally. career-ops is probably not what you need if you are sending one or two applications and are done. The setup — cloning the repo, configuring your profile, adding your CV — takes about fifteen minutes, an investment that only pays off once you are evaluating more than a handful of roles.

Report all six stale translated pages.

content/docs/introduction/what-is-career-ops.mdx:28 changes English prose. The repository rule requires the PR report to name the stale siblings: what-is-career-ops.de.mdx, .es.mdx, .fr.mdx, .it.mdx, .pt.mdx, and .zh.mdx. Reporting that links are absent from /es, /es/manifesto, and /fr/docs does not satisfy this requirement. The guide link can remain English-only.
