Summary

  • Removes the simulation test workflow (sim.yml and reusable-sim.yml). Nobody uses the nightly run or its Slack post anymore, and it also stops running on PRs and release pushes.
  • The make test-sim-* targets stay, so the sims can still be run locally.

RetriggerConfidence Score: 5/5

The PR appears safe to merge based on the repository changes reviewed.

Summary

This PR removes the two simulation CI workflows and records the change in the changelog. The local simulation targets remain available. kingpinXD explicitly intends to stop the scheduled runs, PR and release-push runs, manual workflow runs, and Slack posts.
