Wraps.dev Skills

Agent skills for Wraps.dev — email and SMS that send through your own AWS account.

Install

In Claude Code, add the marketplace once, then install the skills plugin:

/plugin marketplace add wraps-team/skills
/plugin install wraps@wraps

That installs all eight skills below. They cost about 500 tokens of context per session; each skill only loads in full when the agent actually uses it.

For other agents, or to pick skills individually:

npx add-skill wraps-team/skills

Skills

Skill Description
wraps-email TypeScript SDK for sending emails via AWS SES
wraps-sms TypeScript SDK for sending SMS via AWS End User Messaging
wraps-cli CLI for deploying email/SMS infrastructure to your AWS account
wraps-workflows Build email/SMS automation workflows with the TypeScript DSL
aws-ses-best-practices Deliverability, warming, compliance, and AWS CLI diagnostics
ses-troubleshoot Interactive SES deliverability troubleshooting and diagnosis
wraps-quickstart Zero-to-sending setup guide, adapts to your framework and hosting
email-content-guide Email content best practices for inbox placement and spam avoidance

The last three rows are vendor-neutral. They are about SES and about email, and they work whether or not you use Wraps.

MCP server (optional)

The skills teach an agent how to build. The wraps-mcp plugin lets it read your actual account: send history, delivery events, domain and DKIM status, the SES suppression list.

/plugin install wraps-mcp@wraps

It is a separate install because it needs more than the skills do. You need AWS credentials in your shell and a deployed Wraps stack, and the server exits at startup if it cannot find an AWS region. Install it after wraps email deploy, not before. See plugins/mcp for the full setup.

Example prompts

  • "Send a welcome email using Wraps"
  • "Set up email infrastructure with the Wraps CLI"
  • "Send an OTP via SMS"
  • "Check my SES configuration with AWS CLI"
  • "My emails are bouncing, help me diagnose"
  • "Set up Wraps for my Next.js app"
  • "Write a welcome email that won't hit spam"
  • "Create a cart recovery workflow"
