Tree-sitter PowerQuery

Tree-sitter grammar for SentinelOne / Dataset PowerQuery.

Supported Syntax

• Initial filters and pipeline commands
• Boolean, comparison, arithmetic, ternary, and search expressions
• Grouping, sorting, joins, unions, lookups, datasets, and subqueries
• Arrays, lambdas, method calls, template variables, shortcut fields, and comments

Development

Install the pinned Tree-sitter CLI:

bun install

Regenerate the parser and run the complete validation suite:

bun run generate
bun run check

Run individual checks when iterating:

bun run test
bun run parse:example

Grammar changes belong in grammar.js. Commit the corresponding generated changes under src/ and add focused cases to test/corpus/. examples/1.pq provides a representative parse target.
