backplanejs currently seems to lack the capacity to handle a page which uses an explicit html namespace - i.e., based on something like
<h:html xmlns:h="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:xf="http://www.w3.org/2002/xforms">
An explicit html namespace should be treated in a manner which parallels treatment of the more common case:
