feat(swapper): near intents swaps from aptos - #12807
Adds NEAR Intents swaps from and to Aptos, for native APT and the tokens 1Click supports that are in our asset list (USDC, USDT).
Execution: new aptosTxBuildData variant carrying a hex BCS TransactionPayload and quote-time gas, built through a new adapter buildCustomApiTx, plus unsigned tx, fee and execution wiring in web. One variant covers transfers and any future contract call or script. Gas price stays pinned at quote time, because maxGasAmount depends on it (storage is charged in octas).
Token lookup: Aptos joins TOKEN_LOOKUP_CHAINS, since 1Click's Aptos token ids are hashed.
Fee estimation: Aptos has no state overrides, so getFeeData simulates with the zero address fee payer. That skips the gas balance check, so a token holder with no APT gets a real fee and the balance validation can report insufficient gas. It simulates the given amount: quotes use the real sell amount so a sender short of it fails at quote time, and rates use 1 base unit since gas doesn't depend on the amount and the sender may not hold it. Gas matched a normal simulation exactly on mainnet for USDC, USDT, a legacy coin, batch transfers and object creation.
Walletless rates: estimated from 0x1 as a placeholder sender, which holds APT, USDC and USDT. A rate whose fee can't be estimated now returns unknown instead of 0 across all NEAR Intents chains, so walletless Sui, Starknet, NEAR and TON rates show "(unknown)" too.
Tx expiry: 5 minutes for every Aptos tx the adapter builds, over the sdk's 20s default that starts at build time.
public-api: the Aptos adapter is registered in swapper deps, but Aptos stays out of SUPPORTED_CHAIN_IDS, so it isn't exposed. Executable api support is a follow-up.
Deploy note
APTOS_NODE_URL and APTOS_INDEXER_URL are required in public-api with no default. They must be set in Railway before this deploys, or public-api fails env validation at startup.
Known issue
The two mainnet swaps that touched native APT routed through a different 1Click account and paid no app fee to the treasury in the swap's transactions, while other swaps checked paid inline, including the Aptos USDC to USDT test below. The fee is calculated the same way by swap-service and the revenue dashboard, so neither would catch this. To be checked the week of 2026-11-02, before enabling APT routes in production.
Issue (if applicable)

Risk
Low risk: this adds new on-chain transactions, but they sit behind the Aptos flag, which is off by default.
What protocols, transaction types, wallets or contract interactions might be affected by this PR?
Aptos sells and buys via NEAR Intents, behind the Aptos flag. getFeeData is shared with the Aptos send flow, so sends also use the new simulation and 5 minute expiry. Only native hdwallet supports Aptos today.
Gas landed within the 1.2x cap on both, expiry was 5 minutes, and the USDC swap's 60 bps fee reached the treasury.
Those swaps predate the BCS payload. The current code was validated by running the real swapper against mainnet and live 1Click, simulating built transactions at the quoted gas:
Walletless rates for APT, USDC and USDT return real fees, a sender with no APT gets a real fee, and a sender with no token gets an unknown fee.
Quotes for USDC to ETH, USDT to ETH, APT to ETH and USDC to APT build with the right amount, deposit address and gas.
Full USDC and USDT balances to a new recipient, and max APT (balance minus displayed fee), stay within the cap.
A throwaway native wallet signature verifies.
Not yet covered: a real broadcast since the BCS change, and the no-APT and "(unknown)" states in the UI.
Operations
🏁 My feature is behind a flag and doesn't require operations testing (yet)
For reference when the Aptos flag (VITE_FEATURE_APTOS) is turned on. Use a native (mnemonic) ShapeShift wallet, as other wallets don't support Aptos yet. Pick any route you like within each step, so we cover more between us. Aptos swaps use NEAR Intents, and USDC and USDT are the supported Aptos tokens. Keep amounts small, about $2 to $5.
Swap into Aptos: swap anything you hold on another chain to APT. Then do the same into USDC or USDT on Aptos. Both complete and the funds arrive in your wallet.
Sell APT: swap APT to anything. The swap completes and the funds arrive.
Sell a token: swap USDC or USDT on Aptos to anything. The swap completes and the funds arrive.
Fee with no wallet: disconnect your wallet and enter a swap selling APT. The quote shows a gas fee of less than $0.01, not $0.
No APT for gas: on an account holding USDC or USDT on Aptos but no APT, enter a swap selling that token. The trade button shows "Not enough APT.APT to cover gas" and the swap can't be started.
Send: send a small amount of APT to another Aptos address. The send completes.
Adds the aptos TxBuildData variant carrying quote-time gas, the NEAR
Intents aptos step data, unsigned tx and fee helpers, and web trade
execution and network fee wiring for Aptos sells.

Aptos stays out of SUPPORTED_CHAIN_IDS, so its assets and quotes are
still rejected; the adapter is wired so enabling it later is a list change.

Simulates with the zero address fee payer so a sender without apt still
gets real fees, and sets a 5 minute tx expiry over the sdk's 20s default.

Aptos token ids are hashed, so they need the token lookup. Adds the aptos
trade input types and estimates walletless rates from a placeholder sender.

Summary
Aptos adapter and transaction building packages/chain-adapters/src/aptos/*, packages/public-api/.env.example, packages/public-api/src/env.ts, packages/public-api/src/swapperDeps.ts
The adapter adds custom transaction building, sets a 300-second expiry, and simulates fees with the requested transfer value and a fee payer. The public API configures it with required Aptos node and indexer URLs. Tests cover custom payload conversion and fee simulation.
Swapper contracts and Near Intents APIs add Aptos quote, rate, fee, unsigned-transaction, and execution support. Aptos quote data includes a serialized payload and gas values. Aptos joins token lookup and feature-flagged popular-asset selection.
Trade fee retrieval and execution src/lib/tradeExecution.ts, src/components/MultiHopTrade/components/TradeConfirm/hooks/*
The trade flow retrieves Aptos transaction fees and executes Aptos transactions. It checks quote expiry before broadcast and stores the polling cancellation callback.
shapeshift/web#12349: Adds the Aptos adapter and payload contracts that this change extends.

Carries a hex BCS TransactionPayload in the aptos TxBuildData and adds a
payload based buildCustomApiTx to the adapter.
getFeeData always simulates 1 base unit, since gas doesn't depend on the
amount and the sender may not hold it, so rates and quotes share the same
contract address. NEAR Intents rates now return an unknown fee instead of
0, and the rate and quote paths are explicit.

Reserve gas for max-APT swaps.

Reserve gas for max-APT swaps.
The max action sets the sell amount to the full connected APT balance. The Near Intents Aptos path uses that amount unchanged, while the submitted transaction remains sender-paid. The transaction can fail because no APT remains for gas.
Use a fee-aware max amount consistently for both the Near Intents quote and the Aptos payload.

Quotes now fail early when the sender is short of the sell amount, and
rates pass a fixed value so they still price senders who don't hold it.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Remaining CodeRabbit findings that were only in review bodies:
Reserve gas for max-APT swaps: not changing this. The swap max button in TradeAssetInput sets the full balance for every chain, and validateTradeQuote then blocks the trade with InsufficientFirstHopAssetBalance when the balance can't also cover the fee. So a max APT swap is stopped before signing, the same as other native assets. A fee-aware max would be a shared input change rather than an Aptos one.
Explicit return types on getUnsignedAptosTransaction and executeAptosTransaction: not applied. Low value, and the SwapperApi wiring already checks both.
Asserting that simulate.simple receives the built transaction: not applied. Plumbing test only.
getFeeData now simulates the given amount (c0e8ee9), so quotes fail early when the sender is short of the sell asset. Rates still simulate 1 unit.
