Market data and CoinGecko traffic

Top-asset market data now refreshes every 5 minutes instead of every minute, polling pauses in background tabs, and CoinGecko lookups are batched with smaller description payloads. Test that prices, 24h change and market cap load on the dashboard, the Markets page and asset pages. Check that asset descriptions still show, and that prices refresh when you come back to a tab that was in the background.

Trade asset picker

Hidden assets no longer show under My Assets in the trade asset picker. To test, hide an asset (for example a spam token) from the wallet. Then open the sell and buy asset pickers, on a single chain and on "All chains", and confirm the hidden asset is gone while other held assets are still sorted by balance.

EVM RPC efficiency

EVM contract reads are now grouped into multicall batches, and the remaining ethers RPC reads move to viem. Users should see no change, so this is regression testing only. Sanity-check balances and token data on several EVM chains, including second-class chains. Also check trade quotes and network fees, the FOX/rFOX pages and UniV2 LP data, and that tx history still parses UniV2 add/remove liquidity transactions correctly.

Allowance polling

Allowance checks now poll only while the approval doesn't yet cover the amount being spent. Test an ERC20 trade that needs an approval: approve it and confirm the flow moves on to the swap step once the approval confirms. Then confirm a trade with an existing allowance goes straight to the swap without asking for approval. Run a quick check on limit orders as well.

FOX voting power and fee discount

Snapshot strategies are no longer saved to local storage, so newly added strategies (such as the mainnet rFOX one) are picked up without clearing the cache. Test with a wallet that holds rFOX on mainnet, and use a browser profile with existing app data, not a fresh one. Confirm voting power counts the rFOX balance and the FOX fee discount shown on trade quotes reflects it.
