Review notes

This document is nearly 9 years old (last reviewed 2017-05-14). Several aspects are potentially outdated:

1. Pingdom product naming and URLs — Pingdom was acquired by SolarWinds and has since rebranded. The product names referenced in line 18 ("Page Speed" and "Real User Monitoring") and their URLs (/product/page-speed, /product/uptime-monitoring, /product/performance-monitoring) may no longer be accurate. Pingdom now markets these differently under the SolarWinds umbrella.

2. Pingdom plan names — Line 30 references a "Pingdom Starter account" and line 22 references "at least a paid Starter plan." Pingdom's plan tiers and naming have changed significantly since 2017.

3. Free trial offer — Line 28 references a "Start your Free 14-Day Trial" which may no longer be offered in the same form.

4. UI/dashboard references — Lines 38–43 describe a specific onboarding flow and dashboard layout that has almost certainly changed through multiple redesigns since 2017.

5. Varnish reference — Line 52 mentions "Varnish to cache a site" — Pantheon moved away from Varnish to a different caching layer (nginx-based) and this may be misleading.

6. New Relic link — Line 22 references /guides/new-relic which may still be valid on Pantheon's docs site.

The most critical factual issues are the Pingdom product URLs and plan names, and the Varnish reference. However, because Pingdom's current UI, plan structure, and URLs cannot be fully verified against training data, and more than 5 lines would need updating, confidence is low.

Confidence: Low ⚠️ — More than 5 lines would need updating, and the Pingdom UI, plan names, and product URLs involve third-party behavior that cannot be reliably verified against training data given the document's age and Pingdom's acquisition/rebrand since 2017.

Suggested resolution

• Update Pingdom product URLs on line 18 — the /product/uptime-monitoring, /product/page-speed, and /product/performance-monitoring URLs should be verified against the current Pingdom/SolarWinds site and updated if broken or redirected.
• Update plan name references on lines 22 and 30 — "Starter" plan may no longer exist; verify current plan names.
• Remove or update the free trial reference on line 28 if the 14-day free trial is no longer offered.
• Remove or update the Varnish reference on line 52 — Pantheon no longer uses Varnish; replace with a reference to Pantheon's Global CDN or object cache as appropriate.
• Verify dashboard UI steps (lines 38–66) against current Pingdom UI — the onboarding flow, modal structure, and navigation labels have likely changed.
