Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our pledge

We pledge to make participation in the Osira community welcoming, safe, and equitable for everyone. We respect the dignity, rights, experiences, and contributions of all people, regardless of identity, background, ability, experience, or status.

Expected behavior

Community members are expected to:

  • communicate kindly, honestly, and constructively;
  • respect different viewpoints, experiences, and clearly expressed boundaries;
  • give and accept feedback gracefully;
  • take responsibility for their words and actions, and work to repair harm; and
  • keep technical disagreement focused on the work rather than the person.

Unacceptable behavior

Harassment, discrimination, personal attacks, sexualized behavior, threats, deliberate intimidation, impersonation, unwanted attention after a request to stop, and disclosure of another person's private information are not acceptable. Trolling, sustained disruption, and other conduct that threatens the safety or well-being of the community are also prohibited.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies in all Osira community spaces and whenever someone officially represents the project in public or private spaces.

Reporting and enforcement

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, report it privately to an Osira organization owner or repository maintainer through a private contact method they publish on their GitHub profile. If no suitable private contact is available, use GitHub's private content-reporting or abuse-reporting features. Do not open a public issue containing sensitive personal information.

Maintainers responsible for enforcement will review reports fairly, keep details confidential to the extent possible, and take action proportionate to the impact and context. Actions may include a private correction or warning, temporary limits on participation, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Anyone with a conflict of interest must not handle the report.
