Code inspired by https://github.com/leerob/leerob.io.
Use Node.js 22.13+ and npm. Install reproducibly with npm ci, then run
npm run dev. For production verification, run npm run lint,
npm run typecheck, npm run build, and npm start.
Optional redirects use Vercel Global Config (GLOBAL_CONFIG; the existing
EDGE_CONFIG variable is also supported). No config is required locally.
The October 2026 upgrade uses Next.js 16, React 19, and Tailwind CSS 4. Tailwind 4 requires Safari 16.4+, Chrome 111+, or Firefox 128+. TypeScript is pinned to 6.0.3 because Next's ESLint integration currently rejects TypeScript 7. ESLint is pinned to 9.39.5 because Next's bundled React, import, and accessibility plugins do not yet declare ESLint 10 support. Revisit these pins when the Next.js lint toolchain supports their newer majors.
Only reviewed local files from content/ are rendered as MDX. Expressions remain
enabled to preserve existing image dimensions and inline styles, with
next-mdx-remote's dangerous-JavaScript protection retained.
