This is still WIP, as I need to have another few rereads, and I will be checking against the ongoing patch release process. But it is worth sharing now for @Sudha247 (who is partnering on the current release process) to review and refer to. |

A good portion of this will be replaces with reference to scripts or CI jobs that can perform the actions, but iterative refinement of documentation of this kind of operational stuff is part of the process to developing automation.
