fix(tui): disclose capped queue samples through topology and Pulse - #1175
Conversation
… NOW fill 53ca93f gated the queue reads behind broadReads, which is false on every Topology table view, so Q, WORK and NOW were always empty. Drilled views now read the four seat-queue lists; the seatless landing stays names-only.
Gate the four seat-queue lists to a seat's page and the drilled table tab. Overview, graph and health tabs make no /api/queue/list call. The hydrate test now drills with a real segment.
📝 Walkthrough
Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to Some topology views can show known-empty work as unknown or obscure sampled counts. These are bounded display errors, but correcting them would make the queue disclosure reliable. Pre-merge checks |

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Preserve an authoritative zero-work result.
If an agent has assignedWorkCount: 0 and no matching queue rows, a different seat can still make queueCoverage partial. This branch then displays unknown and not in sample for an agent whose inventory reports no assigned work. The empty-row text in the agent detail has the same problem. Pass the agent’s authoritative count into these decisions, and use unknown only when that count is absent.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Keep sampled queue counts visible in narrow Q columns.
queueCount can return 10+ or 100+, but the instance Q column is two characters wide and some rig Q columns are two or three. padLeft changes those values to 1… or 10…. The table then loses both the lower-bound marker and part of the count. Widen the Q columns or use a format that retains the lower-bound meaning at each supported width.

Approved at 7aca8b0. When a queue list reaches its cap or fails to load, the TUI's instance, rig, pod and seat views and Pulse now say the count is a sample or a lower bound; a seat missing from a partial sample reads as unknown work, genuinely empty data still reads empty, and a row in two lists counts once. No new reads, and no daemon, query or setting change. Required CI passed at this head on current main.

What a user gets
When an active queue list reaches its cap, topology tables and seat details label queue counts as samples or lower bounds. An omitted seat shows unknown work instead of appearing empty. Pulse carries the same sample notice and counts attention/state overlap once. Complete empty results keep their existing display.

001c070e, where #1173's corrected queue-read gate is merged. The PR diff contains only this queue sample display change. How you verified it

32d49d7aon an isolated Linux executor: stock package build and TUI typecheck passed. The real SQLite/Hono queue-list regression produced four intended assertion failures and two passes on base634c7871; all six cases passed on this head. The 128 existing checks across hydrate, topology, Pulse and navigation suites passed on the preceding head with byte-identical production files. The first run retained two test-fixture failures caused by looking for the logical ID instead of the shortened table label; the test-only correction and bounded replay are included here. The final follow-up adds one assigned-depth deduplication line and a pending-attention overlap case. All eight required CI jobs passed onc4a5e88f, including the full TUI suite (930 tests; all seven coverage cases passed). The regression covers unrelated-rig saturation, same-rig saturation with an omitted seat, complete empty data, a reached pending cap without an omitted row, attention/state overlap, Pulse navigation targets, failed reads, and navigation read budgets.Prior-head required CI passed: build/package, typecheck, repo checks, daemon/CLI/TUI/UI suites and installed scenario. Current-head
7aca8b0eCI is pending after the main merge and review folds: an eighth human-destined qitem-blocked overlap case, and removal of the unrelated “served” suffix from NEEDS YOU. No Build-local build/test or native journey was run.Anything you were unsure about
A reached cap signals possible truncation, not proof of an omitted row. Coverage is inferred from the existing list caps (100 for attention/blocked/in-progress, 50 for pending), with no new reads or daemon query/schema change. The lists are separate observations, not an atomic census. Served per-seat depth counts remain authoritative when present. No native journey is needed for this display-only change.
