The notification gate and the harness isolation: banners rationed and silenced while nobody is looking, and test suites that keep their refusals, leases and history rows to themselves. Measured on a real Mac before cutting: eleven refusals in twenty seconds delivered one banner and one sound, where the released build would have delivered eleven of each.
