…llel computing doc

Adds introductory steps for launching MATLAB via OOD, promotes section headings
from h1 to h2 so they appear in the right-side TOC, and renames Alternate to
If Cluster Discovery Fails: Use Alternate Method.

It looks great. Here are a few suggestions.

  1. For “After logging into the cluster”, add something like this to help users to login with GUI support. Log in to the web portal, get a remote desktop, then open a terminal within the remote desktop, then open Matlab GUI with commands.

module load matlab
matlab &

  1. For Initial Configuration, say option 1 is to configure on the cluster, option 2 is to configure on the desktop. Users only do one of them at a time; instead, do both at the same time.

  2. About “MATLAB on the HPC Cluster or Desktop”, “Running MATLAB on the HPC Cluster”, instead of in the title, put them in the first sentence of the section as an md note starting with !!! , “MATLAB API can be launched on either the HPC Cluster or Desktop in this section.” , “MATLAB is launched on the HPC Cluster in this section.”

  3. Explain every argument of this command,
    job = c.batch(@pwd, 1, {}, 'CurrentFolder', '.');

  4. Use md note starting with !!! for this “Note that these jobs will always request N+1 CPU cores, since one worker is required to manage the batch job and pool of workers. For example, a job that needs eight workers will require nine CPU cores.”

  5. Use >>> for matlab commands, so as to be different from bash commands.

- Use matlab & in Getting Started to free the terminal after launch
- Rename Initial Configuration sections as Option 1 and Option 2
- Move HPC Cluster or Desktop context from titles into admonitions
- Add per-argument comments to c.batch command
- Convert N+1 CPU cores note to an admonition
- Prefix interactive MATLAB commands with >>> to distinguish from bash
