The books, wherever you already are
Invoices, expenses, VAT and multi-currency accounting for people who
run a business but did not sign up to run an accounting department.
Web app · App Store · Google Play · Developer portal · About
Small-business accounting software usually asks you to become an accountant first. Learn the vocabulary, keep the ledger tidy, then get your invoice. Mini Accountant inverts that: you describe what happened, and the tax, the VAT, the currency conversion and the PDF are consequences rather than homework.
It is a full cross-platform application — iOS, Android and the browser — and it is free to use.
The same workspace, reached however is convenient at the time. Nothing here is a separate product with its own subset of your data.
The app. iOS, Android and web, sharing one account. Invoices out as PDF, expenses in, reports on income, tax and VAT whenever you need them.
The assistant inside it. Ask for an invoice, log an expense, summarise a quarter. The manual path stays available and unchanged — the assistant is a faster way to reach it, not the only way.
Your own AI client, over MCP. A hosted Model Context Protocol server at
mcp.miniaccountant.app connects Claude, Cursor or any MCP-compatible client to
your workspace. OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, no API keys to mint or paste, and tokens
scoped to your account and nothing else. Setup is in
mcp-setup.
Telegram. @ai_mini_accountant_bot for the records you would otherwise lose between the taxi and the office.
Your own code. The developer portal documents the API, and analytics can be driven through Google Looker and BigQuery when the built-in reports run out.
Tax and VAT are computed, not typed. Simple and progressive systems, VAT, and expenses folded into the same calculation. A number you type by hand is a number that goes stale.
Currency conversion has three honest answers. Automatic rates, a rate you enter yourself, or rates from a server you run. Businesses that care about the exact rate on the exact day care enough to control where it comes from.
Invoices leave as files. PDF you can send, print or archive. Your records should outlive your subscription to anything, including this.
The whole app speaks your language. English, Français, Deutsch, Español, 日本語 and more — the interface and the documents both.

That is the public surface. The applications, the backend, the portals and the brand are separate and closed, and are not linked from here — a link to a private repository is a 404 for everyone outside the organization, which is a poor first thing to hand a visitor.
