I'm a hands-on software architect and longtime independent developer. I build systems, frameworks, tools, and products; usually wherever an interesting problem takes me.
Professionally, I work on large, mature software systems across application architecture, platform frameworks, performance, security, data, and developer tooling.
Outside of work, I've been building software under M-GATE Labs since the early 2000s. My projects have ranged from graphics and file-format tools to games, mobile applications, VR, automation, and AI.
I don't have a strong attachment to a particular programming language. Languages and frameworks are tools; I tend to start with the problem and work downward until I find the layer that needs changing.
A personal media system built around a Python server and TypeScript web client.
A collection of interactive tools for solving and cataloging puzzles in Genshin Impact.
A lightweight web application that functions as a screen saver and keeps devices awake.
I've been recovering some of my older source code and making selected projects buildable again while preserving their original implementations.
Line Art Object Placement System — a Java graphics/editor project originally developed in 2004. Recently recovered and lightly updated with modern package organization and Maven build support.
More recovered projects will appear here as I work through the archive.
