How do i add a custom texture?

I'm using your magi.js library for a project of mine
is there a clean way to add a custom texture without hacks?

What kind of custom texture do you want to add? The basic process is

var tex = new Magi.Texture();
tex.width = 1;
tex.height = 1;
tex.data = new Uint8Array([1,2,3,4]);
myNode.material.textures.Texture0 = tex;

i tried:

                mesh = new Magi.Cube().setScale(4 * f * s, 9 * f * s, f * s);
                var tex = new Magi.Texture();
                tex.width = 2;
                tex.height = 2;
                tex.data = new Uint8Array([255,0,0,1,255,0,0,1,255,0,0,1,255,0,0,1]);
                mesh.material.textures.Texture0 = tex;
                mesh.setY(0.8 * f * s);

i expected to see some red pixels, but nothing happens (not even an error), how would i got to use a jpeg as texture?

img = new Magi.Image("texture.jpg"):

is to load images, but how do i apply an image texture to a Magi.Cube?
