I see in the Firefox release notes that it now supports "JPEG XL".

1. Does xv support JPEG XL yet?

2. If no, I ask that xv be enhanced to fully support it.

I understand that this is likely to take some real time and effort. Fortunately, JPEG XL images don't seem to be common yet (I haven't seen any). But it looks like it would be a great enhancement.

I mistakenly referred to the new image format as "JPEG XS". It should be "JPEG XL". I have corrected the issue title and text.
