Monitoring plugin uses generic non-descriptive parameter names

The names of the configuration parameters of the monitoring plugin uses names that may easily conflict with other parameters. It is advisable that such a plugin prefixes all its configuration parameters with a common string that typically would be the plugin name (assuming the plugin has a non-generic name).
