Unable to build plugins due to mismatched import path in tagged release #1038

Description

@tystuyfzand

Since v3.0.0 was released with a mismatched import path (/v2 instead of /v3, fixed in #1030) - it broke the existing builds of my plugins. An issue that could be worked around, but this breaks any go get or similar as you'd have to run go get github.com/gotify/server/v2@v3.0.0 just to get the correct version installed.

Is there any ETA on the next tagged release which would include the import path fix, even if it's a small patch release with just that cherry picked in?

    We have already fixed this problem. The next release will be prioritized because of both this and a pending security fix. @jmattheis will determine the exact date.

    For the plugin problem in particular, a workaround is building the plugin in-tree (copy the source code to the plugins/ directory like the sample plugins). But this does require the server itself to be also built from source.

    I'll create a release later today or latest on Saturday.
