I think we should change our folder structure.
To me it looks like we should rename the literature folder to data_submission (or similar), which contains
literature/svgdigitizer with files for the svgdigitizerrawdata/<type of data><whatever might be submitted and can be converted>
The files from these folders will be converted into something meaningful, stored in the data folder. In principle, if we adopt a metadata schema for the data on the website, we would not have to discern whether the data originates from the svgdigitizer. Maybe such information can be stored in the resulting JSON file during the conversion (i.e., which version of the digitizer was used to generate the data).
We would not even have to distinguish between raw and digitizer, since that information is also found in the JSON.
Even a distinction between literature and rawdata in the data folder is not necessary, since that information can be found in the JSON under source.
Eventually we want to distinguish between different techniques in different figures. But so far we do not have that problem.
