Just opening the app usually makes the Aves keeps crashing issue

Additional context

On a prior phone it was pretty good overall, but once when viewing files from over 3 years ago, it crashed and after restarting it, it also didn't help, the internal storage got corrupted so I could no longer use that phone to download anything like updates, so I had to buy a new one... I really liked this app so anything would be appreciated to keep using it

Thanks for the report. There's probably a specific file in your collection that makes it crash. I'm on holidays now without a computer, but I'll try and provide a test build for you when I'm back.

I'm having it crash a lot too. I'm using a Samsung Tab S8 Ultra. I use it because I have lots of folders of colouring pages and I like that I can choose the image that shows for each folder. Nothing else, that I'm aware of does this, and I would hate to stop using it. Unfortnately sometimes it becomes unuseable because it crashes so often.

Please do the following:

1. install this test build (20260907_1630). It will install as Aves [Profile]
2. launch Aves [Profile] and let it do the scan until it crashes (or gets stuck)
3. launch the debug shortcut of the Aves [Profile] app
4. it will prompt you to save a log file. Save it somewhere and leave the app.
5. open the log file. It should contain dates and paths of media files.
6. pick the last line and find the media file at that path
7. send me the media file. You can share it with me via email if you don't feel comfortable sharing it in this issue thread.
