🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Replace unbounded timestamp spreads with a scan.
For a sufficiently long raw series, Math.max(...points.map(...)) exceeds the JavaScript argument limit and throws before prepareVenueEquity can resample it. Both period filters use this expression. Find the latest timestamp with a loop or reduction instead.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Keep cash-flow ordering aligned with the actual equity sample.
The replacement timestamp moves a sample to the end of its bucket. If a deposit occurs after the sample but before that bucket ends, twrPercentSeries applies the deposit to equity that predates it. For example, two consecutive samples of 100, followed by a 50 deposit after the second sample, produce a false negative return. Retain the sample’s actual timestamp for flow ordering, even if the chart uses a bucket-end timestamp.

Sort each venue’s points before filtering and merging.
forwardFillMergeEquity builds a sorted shared timeline, but each cursor still reads venue points in input order. If a venue supplies timestamps 3_000, 1_000, its cursor stops at 3_000 when processing 1_000 and omits that venue’s earlier value. Sort each venue’s points by timestamp before outlier filtering and cursor traversal.

🚀 Performance & Scalability | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick win
Advance the cursor without copying its remaining points.
slice(cursor.index) copies the remaining array at every merged timestamp. On a long series, these repeated copies make merging quadratic even though each point needs to be visited once. Use an indexed loop that advances cursor.index in place.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | 🏗️ Heavy lift
Apply multiple flows against one interval’s total flow.
Every event between two equity samples uses the same final equity as its post-flow mark. With equity moving from 100 to 200 solely through two 50 deposits, the first adjustment uses 200 / 150 and the second repeats it. The result reports a gain instead of zero return. Aggregate flows between available equity marks for one adjustment, or use an actual equity mark for each flow.

Detect outliers before removing the preceding sample.
If the first sample inside a selected period is a one-point collapse, filterPointsByPeriod removes the preceding good sample. filterEquityOutliers then cannot recognize the collapse and may show a large false return on recovery. Detect the glitch using the available neighboring samples before applying the period cutoff.

Filter equity glitches, resample to hour or day closes, forward-fill merge venues, build TWR percent returns, and derive underwater drawdown with tests.

Compare
Why
Equity points and cash-flow events alone do not produce a chartable percent series: glitches, uneven venue timelines, and deposits still look like return without tested transforms.
How
Add pure frontend transforms for outlier filtering, hour or day resampling, forward-fill venue merge, unit-trust TWR percent returns, and underwater drawdown, covered by unit tests.
