feat(ui): open the SwiftUI currency list everywhere, drop the ObjC picker - #1252
Second screen of the UIKit / Objective-C → SwiftUI migration (Security / Settings group).
Settings already used the SwiftUI LocalCurrencyView. Every other entry point still opened the Objective-C DWLocalCurrencyViewController. They now all use the SwiftUI screen:
Entry point
Before
After
Settings → Local currency
SwiftUI, back
unchanged; title now .subheadMedium
Home shortcut "Local currency"
ObjC modal
SwiftUI modal with a DashUIKit close circle
Amount screens (Send, Request amount, other BaseAmountViewControllers)
ObjC modal
SwiftUI modal with a close circle
Swap Convert / Swap Buy / Coinbase Transfer sheets
SwiftUI inside BottomSheet
unchanged
LocalCurrencyModalController: a thin UIHostingController for the modal case. Picking a currency calls onSelect, then dismisses.
LocalCurrencyViewModel(changesAppCurrency:): the amount screens pick a currency for the amount being entered only, keeping the old picker's isGlobal = NO behavior. Before this, the SwiftUI view model always set the app-wide currency.
LocalCurrencyView.LeadingAction: .back (Settings), .close (modal), or nil (inside a BottomSheet, title only, as before).
BaseAmountViewController.didSelectLocalCurrency(_:) replaces the delegate callback. CrowdNode's override is only renamed (CrowdNode is out of scope for the migration release).
Removed: DWLocalCurrencyViewController, DWLocalCurrencyModel, DWLocalCurrencyTableViewCell, DWCurrencyObject, DWCurrencyItem, DWCurrencyItemPriceProvider, plus their bridging-header and project entries (about −1,000 lines).
…cker
The Home shortcut and the amount screens (Send, Request amount, the
other BaseAmountViewController screens) now present LocalCurrencyView
modally through LocalCurrencyModalController, with a DashUIKit close
circle. The Objective-C DWLocalCurrencyViewController, its model, cell
and currency types are removed.
- LocalCurrencyViewModel takes changesAppCurrency: the amount screens
pick a currency for the amount being entered only, as the old picker's
isGlobal = NO did.
- LocalCurrencyView's bar leading control is back (Settings), close
(modal) or none (inside a BottomSheet, unchanged); the title uses
.subheadMedium.
- BaseAmountViewController.didSelectLocalCurrency replaces the delegate
callback; CrowdNode's override is only renamed.

Walkthrough
The local-currency picker now uses a Swift modal interface. Its view model supports conditional app-wide fiat-currency updates and token-based search. Existing presentation flows use the Swift interface, amount formatting uses the local currency code, and legacy Objective-C picker code and project references are removed.

Swift picker behavior and validation DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/LocalCurrencyView.swift, DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/LocalCurrencyViewModel.swift, DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/Cells/LocalCurrencyCellView.swift, DashWalletTests/LocalCurrencyViewModelTests.swift
The view supports back and close controls, modal presentation, accessible currency rows, and scrolling to the selected currency. The view model supports conditional app-wide currency updates and case- and diacritic-insensitive token search. Tests cover selection and search behavior.
Settings, payment, home, Coinbase transfer, and CrowdNode flows use the Swift picker or its selection hook. Payment and transfer flows pass the current currency without changing the app-wide currency.
Local-currency fiat formatting DashWallet/Sources/UI/Payments/Amount/Model/BaseAmountModel.swift, DashWallet/Sources/UI/Coinbase/Transfer Amount/TransferAmountViewModel.swift, DashWalletTests/AmountObjectTests.swift
Amount formatting uses the requested local currency and returns nil when conversion fails. Coinbase transfer formatting uses the shared formatter and exposes the local currency code. Tests cover JPY formatting and unavailable rates.
The legacy Objective-C currency picker, model, currency objects, table cell, and related categories are removed. Project references and the bridging-header import are updated. The project registers the view-model tests.

Explanation
The title names the two main changes: the Settings-style SwiftUI currency list now opens from every entry point, and the Objective-C currency picker is removed. The changeset matches both. The LocalCurrency Objective-C picker, model, cell, and currency types are deleted, and the Home shortcut, amount screens, Coinbase transfer, and Settings all now present LocalCurrencyModalController or LocalCurrencyView. The title is specific and uses a conventional type prefix, so it is clear to a teammate reading history.

🟡 1 major
Accessibility regression on the paths moved off the ObjC picker; the rest are recommendations
Before / After, please. This replaces a whole screen on two entry points, so the description should show it. Please add screenshots (small, one-row table is fine) for: Settings → Local currency, the Home shortcut modal, the currency modal from an amount screen (Send or Request), and one Swap sheet — light and dark. One shot at a large accessibility text size would also help with the major below.
Major (inline)
LocalCurrencyView.swift#L94 — on the Home shortcut and the amount screens, the picker loses VoiceOver row semantics and Dynamic Type that the ObjC picker had.
Level 3 gaps (please fix here or file an issue)
Coinbase Transfer still changes the app-wide currency.TransferAmountView.swift#L85 uses the default changesAppCurrency: true, while its selectFiatCurrency only sets the transfer's currency. Picking EUR for a transfer also switches Home and Settings to EUR, and the list highlights the app currency rather than the transfer's. This predates the PR, but the PR adds exactly the flag that fixes it and lists this sheet as "unchanged". (Swap Convert / Buy set App.shared.fiatCurrency themselves, so they are consistent.)
No test for changesAppCurrency: false. A unit test on LocalCurrencyViewModel.select asserting App.shared.fiatCurrency is untouched would pin the behaviour this PR exists to keep.
Orphaned ObjC helpers. Their only users were the deleted picker files, and they are still compiled: NSPredicate+DWFullTextSearch.{h,m}, UIView+DWRecursiveSubview.{h,m}, NSAttributedString+DWHighlightText.{h,m}, DWNavigationAppearance.h.
8 non-blocking recommendations
Scroll to the selected currency on open — LocalCurrencyView.swift#L181 — the old picker centred the selected row (DWLocalCurrencyViewController.m#L83-L89); the new list always opens at the top, so USD (~150th row) is off-screen. A ScrollViewReader + scrollTo(selectedCurrencyCode, anchor: .center) on appear restores it.
Search parity — LocalCurrencyViewModel.swift#L77 — the old dw_searchPredicateForTrimmedQuery split the query into words and required each to match, case- and diacritic-insensitively; the new filter is one contains on the whole string, so "dollar us" finds nothing. Per-token range(of:options: [.caseInsensitive, .diacriticInsensitive]) keeps the old behaviour.
Title no longer scales — LocalCurrencyView.swift#L234 — .font(.subheadline) → .dashFont(.subheadMedium), a fixed 15 pt. Same at the default size, but it also changes the Swap / Coinbase sheets that are meant to stay unchanged.
Make changesAppCurrency required — LocalCurrencyViewModel.swift#L34, #L42 — the true default is how the Coinbase sheet slipped through. Either no default, or drop the global write from the list and let Settings / the Home shortcut set App.shared.fiatCurrency in their onSelect.
rootView built twice — LocalCurrencyView.swift#L96 — the placeholder uses the defaults (changesAppCurrency: true). It is harmless only because @StateObject is lazy; a small weak box for dismiss set after super.init avoids depending on that.
Bottom safe-area strip in the modal — LocalCurrencyView.swift#L84-L85 — the background does not ignore the safe area and the hosting controller keeps its default background, so the area under the home indicator may show systemBackground instead of dash.primaryBackground (Settings avoids it via dw_background() on its container). (not verified at runtime — the screenshots will show it)
Close button moved from trailing to leading — LocalCurrencyView.swift#L219 — presumably intended (DashUIKit bar); worth one line in the description.
Review details
Layered review: idea → architecture → completeness → code. Tier: normal (UI).
Level 4: general code-review lane plus a UI specialist lane (states, localization, accessibility, dark mode, parity with the removed ObjC picker). Every finding above was checked against the code at c6d1d77d1b except the one marked not verified.
Checked clean: all LocalCurrencyView callers (Settings closures now in the right slots; Swap / Coinbase trailing closures still bind to onSelect); CrowdNode is the only BaseAmountViewController subclass that overrode the removed delegate, and its @objc dynamic override from an extension is valid; no remaining references to the deleted ObjC types; no new localization keys; colours are .dash.* tokens.
The repo's "VoiceOver / Dynamic Type audit" check passes, so it does not catch onTapGesture rows or fixed .system(size:) fonts in app code.
DashUIKit's before/after check (screenshots-check.py), run against this PR with DashWallet/Sources mapped to Sources/, fails: no Before / After images in the description.

Major — accessibility regression on the paths moved off the ObjC picker (Home shortcut, amount screens).
The old DWLocalCurrencyTableViewCell was a UITableViewCell: one VoiceOver element per row, activatable, and its labels used dw_fontForTextStyle with adjustsFontForContentSizeCategory = YES. The SwiftUI list this controller hosts loses both:
VoiceOver — rows are an HStack with .onTapGesture and no .accessibilityElement(children: .combine) or .isButton trait, so each row splits into flag / name / price / code elements, none announced as actionable. The selected state is only the colour of a Circle, so the current currency is never spoken.
Dynamic Type — the cell uses .subhead / .footnote / .caption1, which are fixed .system(size:) fonts, so at accessibility sizes the list stays at 15 / 13 / 12 pt where the old picker scaled.
Settings already had this on develop; this PR extends it to the two entry points that were accessible before. Suggested fix in LocalCurrencyCellView: .accessibilityElement(children: .combine), .accessibilityAddTraits(isSelected ? [.isButton, .isSelected] : .isButton), an explicit label ("US Dollar, USD, "), and relativeTo:-scaled fonts.
VoiceOver: each row is now one Button, with accessibilityElement(children: .ignore). It reads ", " as the label (verbatim, since both come from the rates data), the price as the value, and [.isButton, .isSelected] on the current currency, so the selection is spoken.
Dynamic Type:LocalCurrencyCellView uses text styles (.system(.subheadline, weight: .medium), .system(.footnote), .system(.caption)). They are the same 15 / 13 / 12 pt at the default size and scale with it. The accessibility-XL screenshot is in the description. One known limit: names stay single-line, so at the largest sizes long ones truncate with an ellipsis.

Preliminary review — Phase 1 blocker gate
The migration preserves currency-selection semantics, but it introduces an accessibility regression on Home and amount-entry paths that were previously served by accessible UITableView cells. The new SwiftUI rows are fixed-size fonts and gesture-only elements without a combined actionable accessibility representation, so VoiceOver users cannot reliably activate rows or hear selection state, and Dynamic Type users lose scaling. The simulator test check is still in progress; title, target-membership, accessibility-audit, and CodeRabbit checks have passed.
Validated blockers were found by the Phase-1 review and confirmed by a fresh verifier. Phase 2 is deferred until a fresh same-head revalidation clears the blocker gate.
🔴 2 blocking | 🟡 3 suggestion(s)
4 finding(s) not shown inline (the lines are not part of this PR's diff)
🔴 Blocking: Migrated currency rows are not reliably operable or descriptive with VoiceOver DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/LocalCurrencyView.swift:160-169
The Home shortcut and amount-entry flows now render each currency as an HStack with only .onTapGesture. Unlike the removed UITableView cell, the row is not combined into one accessibility element, is not exposed with a button trait, and does not announce whether it is selected; the selection is represented only by the stroke color of the Circle. VoiceOver can therefore expose the flag, name, price, and code as separate elements without an actionable row, preventing users from reliably choosing a currency on these newly migrated paths. Add a combined accessibility element with an explicit currency label and button/selected traits, or use an equivalent SwiftUI control.
🔴 Blocking: Migrated currency rows no longer scale for Dynamic Type DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/Cells/LocalCurrencyCellView.swift:64-93
The currency cell uses .subhead, .footnote, and .caption1, which are declared as fixed .system(size:) fonts in Font+DWStyle.swift. The old DWLocalCurrencyTableViewCell used text styles with adjustsFontForContentSizeCategory, so the Home shortcut and amount-entry screens lose Dynamic Type scaling when moved to this cell. At accessibility content sizes the text remains 15/13/12 points, risking truncation and making the newly migrated money-entry paths less usable for low-vision users. Use Dynamic Type-aware SwiftUI text styles, such as Font.system(.subheadline, weight: .medium), Font.system(.footnote), and Font.system(.caption), or otherwise apply relative scaling.
🟡 Suggestion: Currency picker no longer opens at the selected currency DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/LocalCurrencyView.swift:180-192
The removed Objective-C controller scrolled to the selected row in viewWillAppear, centered in the table. The replacement ScrollViewWithOnScrollChanged has no ScrollViewReader, scrollTo, or equivalent initial positioning, so every modal and settings presentation starts at the top of the roughly 160-item list even when a currency is already selected. This makes the migrated picker materially less efficient to use and drops behavior that existed at every migrated entry point.
🟡 Suggestion: Currency search loses multi-token and diacritic-insensitive matching DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/LocalCurrencyViewModel.swift:77-86
The previous DWFullTextSearch predicate split the query into tokens, required every token to match either the code or name, and used case- and diacritic-insensitive matching. The new filter treats the entire trimmed query as one lowercased substring. Consequently, a query such as states united no longer matches United States, and names with diacritics no longer match their unaccented input. Since this ViewModel now serves all currency entry points, the migration carries a search behavior regression into the newly migrated screens.
private func applyFilter(_ query: String) {
let trimmed = query.trimmingCharacters(in: .whitespacesAndNewlines)
guard !trimmed.isEmpty else {
filteredItems = allItems
return
}
let tokens = trimmed
.folding(options: .diacriticInsensitive, locale: .current)
.lowercased()
.split(whereSeparator: { $0.isWhitespace })
.map(String.init)
filteredItems = allItems.filter { item in
let code = item.code.folding(options: .diacriticInsensitive, locale: .current).lowercased()
let name = item.name.folding(options: .diacriticInsensitive, locale: .current).lowercased()
return tokens.allSatisfy { token in
code.contains(token) || name.contains(token)
}
}
}
Triage: normal by gpt-6.1-sol (effort low) — This is a cross-cutting UI migration affecting multiple currency-selection entry points, modal presentation, view-model behavior, and Objective-C/Swift integration, but it does not modify a critical surface such as funds movement, cryptography, consensus, or storage.

- [SUGGESTION] DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/LocalCurrencyViewModel.swift:61-65: The global-versus-local selection contract has no regression test
The new `changesAppCurrency` branch is the key behavioral guarantee of this migration: Settings and Home must update `App.shared.fiatCurrency`, while amount-entry screens must update only `selectedCurrencyCode`. There are no focused LocalCurrency tests covering either branch, so a future change could silently make an amount picker alter the app-wide currency. Add tests that exercise `select(currencyCode:)` with both values and verify both the selected code and global currency state.

Added in 8db5b63: LocalCurrencyViewModelTests covers both changesAppCurrency branches (amount-only leaves App.shared.fiatCurrency untouched; app-wide and the default change it) and the search. The test restores the original app currency in tearDown.

Resolved (re-reviewed at 2003b3a8): Your LocalCurrencyViewModelTests exercise explicit global selection, amount-only selection, and the default-global behavior, asserting both selected and app-wide state for the two explicit branches. I verified the original currency is restored in tearDown and the test has the required target entries; simulator CI is still pending.
Review follow-ups on the SwiftUI currency list, which now serves the Home
shortcut and the amount screens too:
- Each row is one Button: VoiceOver reads "<name>, <code>", the price as
its value, and the selected trait on the current currency.
- Row fonts are Dynamic Type text styles (same sizes at the default
content size) instead of fixed .system(size:) fonts.
- The list opens scrolled to the selected currency, as the ObjC picker
did.
- Search matches every word in any order, ignoring case and diacritics,
as DWFullTextSearch did.
- Coinbase Transfer picks a currency for the transfer only
(changesAppCurrency: false) and highlights the transfer's currency.
- LocalCurrencyViewModelTests cover both changesAppCurrency branches and
the search.
- Remove ObjC helpers left without users: NSPredicate+DWFullTextSearch,
UIView+DWRecursiveSubview, NSAttributedString+DWHighlightText,
DWNavigationAppearance.h.

@romchornyi thanks for the review! Everything is addressed in 8db5b63 + 2003b3a. develop is merged in, CI is re-running, and the screenshots (light, dark, accessibility XL, amount-screen modal) are in the description.
Major: accessibility. Rows are single VoiceOver buttons with the selected trait and Dynamic Type text styles (details inline).
Level 3 gaps
Coinbase Transfer: now uses changesAppCurrency: false, and the list opens on the transfer's currency (TransferAmountViewModelProtocol.fiatCurrencyCode) rather than the app's. The sheet no longer changes Home/Settings.
Test for the flag:LocalCurrencyViewModelTests, covering both branches plus the search. All pass locally.
Orphaned ObjC helpers: removed NSPredicate+DWFullTextSearch.{h,m}, UIView+DWRecursiveSubview.{h,m}, NSAttributedString+DWHighlightText.{h,m} and DWNavigationAppearance.h, after grepping that none of their symbols is used anywhere.
Also from the bot's review
The list opens on the selected currency (ScrollViewReader → scrollTo(selected, anchor: .center)), as the ObjC picker did. Checked in the simulator.
Search is back to every word, any order, ignoring case and diacritics (e.g. "emirates united"), as DWFullTextSearch did. The match highlight also ignores diacritics.
Not in this PR, noticed while testing
At accessibility text sizes, long currency names truncate (single line).
In dark mode the DashUIKit SearchBar placeholder ("Search") is barely visible. It's the shared component, not this screen.

Re-review — Final validation — Phase 1 + Phase 2
All five prior findings are fixed at head 2003b3a. One blocking interaction regression remains: opening on a currency farther down the list immediately hides search until the user returns to the top; multi-token highlighting also remains inconsistent with filtering. The accessibility and test-target-membership checks pass, while DashWalletTests on simulator is still pending; no local builds or tests were run.

🟡 Suggestion: Multi-word search filters per token but highlights only the whole contiguous query DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/Cells/LocalCurrencyCellView.swift:106-116
Filtering now matches whitespace-separated tokens independently, but highlightedText still searches for the entire trimmed query as one contiguous substring. For example, emirates united finds United Arab Emirates Dirham but highlights neither matching word; a query spanning the code and name has the same mismatch. The removed Objective-C highlighter handled each token and each occurrence independently, so the newly migrated entry points lose that feedback. Tokenize highlighting consistently with filtering and highlight the matching ranges while retaining case- and diacritic-insensitive matching.
Triage: normal by gpt-6.1-sol (effort low) — This cross-cutting UI migration changes currency-selection scope, presentation, and amount-screen integration, but does not itself alter funds movement, coin selection, cryptography, key handling, or storage migrations.

- [BLOCKING] DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/LocalCurrencyView.swift:205-210: Keep search available after the initial jump to the selected currency
Opening the picker with a currency farther down the list, such as JPY, immediately removes the search field. At the pinned DashUIKit revision, ScrollViewWithOnScrollChanged uses a geometry probe that reports programmatic movement too. The initial scrollTo therefore produces a negative offset that reaches LocalCurrencyTopOverlayView, where `scrollOffset > -20` removes SearchBar. Scrolling upward a little cannot reveal it: the user must return almost to the beginning of the roughly 160-row list before searching. This newly affects Settings and the existing SwiftUI sheet callers as well as the migrated modals. Preserve search access while opening on the selected currency, for example by pinning search or allowing it to reappear on upward scrolling independently of the absolute offset.

Fixed in c860e4c. The search field is now pinned under the title instead of hiding on scroll, so it's there as soon as the list opens on the selected currency (checked in the simulator with JPY selected).
Pinning search exposed a related issue, also fixed: if the list was scrolled down (e.g. to the selection) and the user typed a query, the results started at the top and sat out of view. The list now scrolls to the top whenever the query changes.

Resolved (re-reviewed at c860e4cd): Confirmed: your search field is now unconditional beneath the title, so opening on JPY cannot hide it through the scroll offset. Your query-change handler also scrolls to the top marker, addressing the offscreen-results sequence described in your reply.
- The search field is pinned under the title instead of hiding once the
list scrolls: opening on a currency far down the list (the initial
scrollTo) used to hide it until the user scrolled back to the top.
- Changing the query scrolls the list to the top, where the results
start; left scrolled to the selection they sat out of view.
- Every matching word is highlighted (case and diacritics ignored), the
same way the filter matches, instead of only the whole query.
- Search folds with a fixed locale, so a Turkish device still finds INR
for "inr".
- Tests for the per-word highlight and the locale-independent match.

Blocking: search hidden after opening on the selection. Search is now pinned (inline reply).
Results out of view when searching from a scrolled list. Found while verifying the fix above, also fixed: a query change scrolls the list to the top.
Multi-word highlight. Every matching word is highlighted, matched the same way as the filter (case and diacritics ignored, overlaps merged). Tests: testEveryMatchingWordIsHighlighted, testHighlightIgnoresCaseAndAccents, testOverlappingMatchesMerge.

Re-review — Final validation — Phase 1 + Phase 2
At c860e4c, all seven prior findings are addressed. One blocking issue remains: Coinbase's newly local-only currency selection exposes a balance conversion/formatting mismatch; the title also loses Dynamic Type scaling, and the highlight documentation is stale. Current exact-head CI passes simulator build/tests, test-target membership, and accessibility checks; this verification was static, with no local builds or tests.
Triage: normal by gpt-6.1-sol (effort low) — This cross-cutting UI migration changes currency selection state, search, accessibility, and modal presentation across multiple entry points, but does not itself change funds movement, cryptography, or another critical surface.

In `DashWallet/Sources/UI/Coinbase/Transfer Amount/TransferAmountView.swift`:
- [BLOCKING] DashWallet/Sources/UI/Coinbase/Transfer Amount/TransferAmountView.swift:87-89: Use the transfer currency consistently when converting its wallet balance
Setting `changesAppCurrency: false` allows the transfer's `model.localCurrencyCode` to differ from `App.fiatCurrency`, but `BaseAmountModel.fiatWalletBalanceFormatted` still converts using `App.fiatCurrency` and formats the result with `supplementaryNumberFormatter`, which `setupCurrencyCode` changes to the transfer's selected currency. Leave the app in USD, select JPY in this sheet, then switch direction to send to Coinbase: `switchDirection()` refreshes the source items, displaying the wallet's USD valuation with the JPY formatter. Wallet-balance updates also refresh through this mismatched getter. Although the getter predates this PR, this sheet previously updated the global currency before applying its model selection, keeping the conversion and formatter aligned. Fix the conversion/formatting pair in the owning model to use the same currency, and add a regression test with different app and transfer currencies.
In `DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/LocalCurrencyView.swift`:
- [SUGGESTION] DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/LocalCurrencyView.swift:261: Preserve Dynamic Type scaling for the currency title
The previous title used `.font(.subheadline).fontWeight(.medium)`, which scales with Dynamic Type. At the pinned DashUIKit revision `426ab404b6847ec08d52e34e13d051255c4836ce`, `.dashFont(.subheadMedium)` instead applies `.system(size: 15, weight: .medium)` and fixed line-height metrics without scaling. The title therefore remains 15 pt at accessibility sizes, even though the rows now scale. Restore a scalable text style for the title.
In `DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/Cells/LocalCurrencyCellView.swift`:
- [NITPICK] DashWallet/Sources/UI/Menu/Settings/LocalCurrency/Cells/LocalCurrencyCellView.swift:105: Update the highlight comment to describe per-word matching
The helper now renders all ranges returned by `matchRanges`, including matches for separate query words and repeated occurrences. Its comment still promises only the first occurrence of the contiguous query, contradicting the implementation and the new regression tests.

🔴 Blocking: Use the transfer currency consistently when converting its wallet balance
Setting changesAppCurrency: false allows the transfer's model.localCurrencyCode to differ from App.fiatCurrency, but BaseAmountModel.fiatWalletBalanceFormatted still converts using App.fiatCurrency and formats the result with supplementaryNumberFormatter, which setupCurrencyCode changes to the transfer's selected currency. Fixed in d3cd8fb. fiatWalletBalanceFormatted now converts at the rate of the model's localCurrencyCode and formats with that currency's formatter, so the pair always matches. The conversion lives in one helper, BaseAmountModel.fiatFormatted(duffs:currencyCode:exchanger:formatter:), which the transfer's receive line also uses instead of its own copy. Regression tests in AmountObjectTests cover a JPY value next to the USD one, and a currency with no rate.

Resolved (re-reviewed at d3cd8fb6): Verified your model-owned fix: fiatWalletBalanceFormatted converts using localCurrencyCode and formats with the formatter updated by setupCurrencyCode, including after direction changes and wallet-balance refreshes. The receive estimate reuses the same helper, and the added tests distinguish JPY from USD conversion and cover an unavailable rate.

🟡 Suggestion: Preserve Dynamic Type scaling for the currency title
The previous title used .font(.subheadline).fontWeight(.medium), which scales with Dynamic Type. At the pinned DashUIKit revision 426ab404b6847ec08d52e34e13d051255c4836ce, .dashFont(.subheadMedium) instead applies .system(size: 15, weight: .medium) and fixed line-height metrics without scaling. The title therefore remains 15 pt at accessibility sizes, even though the rows now scale. Restore a scalable text style for the title.

Resolved (re-reviewed at d3cd8fb6): Verified your title fix: it now uses .font(.system(.subheadline, weight: .medium)), restoring Dynamic Type scaling instead of the fixed DashUIKit style.

Resolved (re-reviewed at d3cd8fb6): Verified your d3cd8fb change: the comment now describes highlighting every match of each query word, matching the ranges rendered by the helper.
- The wallet balance converted at the app currency's rate but was
formatted in the model's currency, which a Coinbase transfer now picks
on its own. Rate and format both come from the model's currency, via
one helper the transfer's receive line reuses.
- The Local Currency title scales with Dynamic Type again.
- The highlight helper's comment describes per-word matching.

Re-review — Final validation — Phase 1 + Phase 2
Independently reviewed the complete base-to-head diff at d3cd8fb and verified that all ten prior findings are fixed, with no remaining actionable in-scope defects. The migrated callers preserve app-wide versus amount-only selection, and transfer wallet-balance conversion and formatting now use the same currency. Current-head accessibility and test-target membership checks pass; simulator tests remain pending, and no local builds or tests were run in this static review.
