Cyrus is heavily under development and it's not ready for production use yet.
Cyrus is built to deliver:
- Explicit control over the machine
- Clean, human-readable syntax
- Minimal abstractions
- High-performance execution
- Precise low-level interactions
- A strictly imperative/procedural paradigm
The Cyrus compiler currently supports Linux (x86_64). Support for additional platforms will follow self-hosting.
Download the latest nightly binary for Linux from our GitHub Actions artifacts.
For instructions on building the compiler from source, see the Build from Source guide.
We are committed to fostering an open, welcoming, and inclusive community for everyone contributing to or engaging with Cyrus.
