[Android] Selection handles missing on double tap after multiselect #6171

Steps to Reproduce

- Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet

1. Tap on dolor to place the caret in it.
2. Tap and hold Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet to select the thought.
3. Tap empty space to dismiss the selection.
4. Double tap dolor.

Current Behavior

dolor is selected and the Translate / Cut / Copy toolbar appears, but no selection handles are shown.

Expected Behavior

dolor should be selected with both selection handles shown, as when double tapping a word without first selecting the thought (skipping steps 2 and 3).
