The v1.17.4 "Package apps" run built only the Linux assets. Both macOS jobs failed on infrastructure, not code.
arm64: macos-14 runner retired
GitHub is retiring the
macos-14image on 2 November 2026 and is running scheduled brownouts until then. The job hit one.macos-15. The Swift shells pin their minimum macOS withswiftc -target …-macos12.0/13.0, so the apps run on the same macOS versions as before.x86_64: stapling failed on a network blip
Notarization was Accepted, but
staplerlost its connection to Apple's ticket service (NSURLError -1005, stapler error 68). That one failure failed the whole job.tools/bundle/staple.shretries each staple up to 5 times, 30 seconds apart. It's used for both the apps and the DMG, the same idea as the retries innotarize.sh.Testing
