AnChat is a decentralized social chat application built on the Orama Network, an open-source peer-to-peer ecosystem.
No email. No phone number. No data collection. Create an account in seconds with the built-in wallet and start chatting — anyone can join.

- App Lock — Face ID / Touch ID or a 4- or 6-digit PIN, with an optional duress PIN that silently erases your data under coercion

AnChat Lite supports iOS 18.0 or later and Android 14 or later.
⚠️ A one-time clean install is required.
AnChat v5.0.0 is a complete rebuild — a brand-new app with a new architecture and a new database — so it cannot carry over data from any earlier version (v4.x and below). If you still have an older version installed, do a clean install once:
- Uninstall the old AnChat app (v4.x or earlier). Updating over the existing app is not enough — the old data must be removed.
- Install the latest AnChat fresh (v5.0.0 or newer).
- Open the app and either create a new account, or import an existing Solana or Ethereum private key.
Already on v5.0.0 or newer? Nothing to do. When a new version (v5.1, v6, …) is released, just update the app normally — no uninstall, no reinstall, and your account and messages are preserved.
