## Transcript

Tyler Wright: All Welcome everybody to SIG Economics. It is Tuesday, April 28th, 2026. During the special interest group for economics, the Akash community comes together to talk about all things related to economics on This includes the token as a product. there's been some discussion previously about exploration of other chains and again we talk about that in SIG chain and we sometimes cover that here. we've talked about proposals that have gone on chain for the community pool and a number of other efforts. If anybody has any specific agenda items that they want to make sure get covered please feel free to drop them in the chat.

Tyler Wright: Since our last SIG economics meeting, there has been a network upgrade that has brought burnt equilibrium to the Akos network as well as smart contracts. again, the smart contracts enable an oracle to continue to monitor the price of the token. and again, the Burn mint equilibrium has been implemented. So I know on a number of other decentralized kind of like Mintscan and other tools now you can ACT as well as big shout out to the Akash core engineering team. There's a lot of work that went into bringing BME to Big shout out to members of the community as well.

Tyler Wright: And there was also an incentivized test net that took place where there was a lot of rigorous testing. so again everybody in the community members alike really felt comfortable. There are a couple of improvements that are on the way to continue to improve the oracle portion of implementation of BME. so as discussed in sik chain there is a planned network upgrade that will be announced soon. and again there's some other core engineering features unrelated to BME or the oracle that will also be unlocked during this next network upgrade but just want to call that out to folks here. again we already talked about in the sig chain and some other calls but big shout out to again everybody.

Tyler Wright: I know that was a big discussion point and something that was brought up and talked about a lot during SIG economics. One other thing that I just want to quickly touch on before I see if there's any other topics of discussion. In 2025, there was a proposal that passed on chain from a research organization called Blockworks. they are the team that puts together permission list but they are a research organization that works very closely with investors all over the world and has a number of research applications and dashboards that they make available to their investor audience. The proposal went on chain and passed in summer of 2025.

Tyler Wright: the team that was working on that proposal had some issues when it came down to database and didn't really have a customer success organization in place. again the Akash community as a whole was waiting for a dashboard and this year members of the core team reached back out to block works to check on the status. They were very very apologetic about the timeline but have really begun to work and have pushed back the timeline for when the engagement will begin. Again, it was supposed to begin 2025 through 2026, but it will begin 2026 and go through 2027. They have done an initial version of the analytics board. and so again, I would love for anybody here to take a look at this dashboard.

Tyler Wright: I'll make sure it's in the notes. If you have any questions, comments, feedback, please feel free to drop that feedback in SIG economics discord channel and this will be shared with the block works team so that they can continue to update the dashboard ahead of doing some marketing and continue distribution across their various channels. Again really the goal for this dashboard as it was outlined in 2025 and it continues is to really paint a story around Akash growth all the roadmap items that have been done and continue to be implemented over time for investors for folks

Tyler Wright: that want to use Akash as an enterprise application. Again as Akash the product continues multiple products built on top of Akash continue to mature but again really looking for any feedback from any members of the community that want to participate in really improving this dashboard. Isaac and I were talking to a couple of members of their team initially and felt like the phase one of this dashboard was a little bit too closely aligned with the stats.

### 00:05:00

Tyler Wright: network page. and so our initial feedback to their team was really to dive into the storytelling element using data to really paint a picture for again their investor audience that will either push Akos on some of the projects that they're a part of or again get involved in purchasing the AKT token because they see the value and the potential of growth as time goes on. So again, as an action item, it would be great and I'll make sure this is in the notes and also in Discord if anybody wants to give feedback on the dashboard in V1. please take the next week or so to share any thoughts, feedback etc.

Tyler Wright: any other data points or information that you want to be seen what you think makes sense to be seen so that input can be shared with the team and then again as maybe at the next SIG economics meeting or the one after we'll make sure that the block works team members are here to share any feedback and then share how things are going with the distribution. Cool. All right, those are the two agenda items that I know were outstanding. Again, since our last meeting in March that we've brought BME to the Akash network and then again I just wanted to have a followup about a proposal that passed on chain in 2025 and again work is being monitored and work is ongoing for the blockworks research dashboards.

Tyler Wright: Are there any other topics related to sig economics that anybody wants to make sure get discussed? I know that there's a steering committee happening on Thursday. there are a couple of discussions ongoing u but nothing really out of the ordinary. I would again as always please use your voices involved in discussions make your voice heard when people and community members are suggesting ideas pitching things that they want to see happen. Go ahead, if you're talking, you might be on mute.

Tyler Wright: Okay, he gone but he might be back. while we wait for Rodri, is there any other items related to SE economics that anybody wants to make sure get discussed that haven't been?

Cheng Wang: Sorry, I'm a few minutes late. Ty, is there anything you would like me to chime in on?

Tyler Wright: No, no, no. You're good. But we gave an update on BME which obviously has gone online since our last meeting. and then I just gave an update on block works. I think everything else is business kind of as usual. go ahead Roger.

Rodri R: Hey guys, sorry. Don't know what happened to my mic. just wanted to say that there's a discussion about unblocking some make that got stuck in an IBCX escrew on SIF chain…

Rodri R: which I think would be good to unblock get it out from escrow.

Tyler Wright: Yeah, Roger,…

Tyler Wright: if you could follow up in the SIG economics channel. I think maybe this is something that somebody has a proposal on chain for and so we can see if there's anybody that wants to do that. but we can kind of track this item async and make sure that there's some sort of resolution.

Rodri R: Yeah, I thought Yeah, I'll share it on the next

Tyler Wright: Perfect. Are there any other economics topics that haven't been discussed that anybody wants to discuss?

Tyler Wright: Especially while we have Chang and Isaac here. All right. If not, then I'm going to go off if not then, we can certainly give you all some time back. again, we have steering committee this upcoming week. this MO meeting has been moved back just because there were some blockers and some folks wanted to end that weren't able to attend when it was on previous weeks. but I think our next plan sick economics meeting is at the top of May. so we'll have some time to prepare for that meeting.

### 00:10:00

Tyler Wright: If anybody has any agenda items that they want to make sure get discussed and you're listening to this recording later or some stuff that you or maybe want to think about talking about but isn't defined quite yet, please feel free to drop it in the SIG economics channel and we can add it to the agenda for the next meeting. Appreciate everyone's time today. thanks to those listening later. I know Andrew was trying to make it but couldn't but as always big shout out to Andrew. but again hope everyone has a great rest of the day and again if anybody has any topics for future SIG economics meetings please feel free to drop them in the discord channel and we'll make sure those things get discussed. Also look out for GitHub discussions to see if there's any discussions coming soon for community pool spend or anything on that front to make your voice heard for support ask questions etc.

Tyler Wright: Hope everyone has a great rest of their day, great week, and hope to see you all at steering committee if not before. Thank you all very much. Byebye.

Cheng Wang: Thank you everyone.

Isaac Grooms: Thank you.

Cheng Wang: Thanks. you guys. Bye.

Rodri R: Thank you. M.
