X Deltacloud Provider

X-Deltacloud-Provider

The X-Deltacloud-Provider header allows the use of many providers with a single Deltacloud instance.

Long-term, we hope to provide a drop-down for these fields where values are part of a finite set (such as with EC2), and clearer text for other providers. In the meantime, this page should help you figure out what is required.

Provider Type	Description	Example Value
Amazon EC2	Represents the EC2 region used	us-east-1
Mock	Value is ignored
RHEV-M	URI pointing to provider
VMware vSphere	vSphere API hostname only

EC2 Regions

The following are the supported values for the X-Deltacloud-Provider header with EC2:

• ap-southeast-1
• ap-northeast-1
• eu-west-1
• us-east-1
• us-west-1

Note that this list changes periodically, for now, you may want to check for additional regions on the official ec2 list
