A little something something that I occasionally remember about and work on. The idea here was to help my fiancée remember what she fed her animals and when she fed them, since she (and I) have so many of them. Right now, it does functionally work in that a user can add an animal with a schedule, add a feed, and see when that animal was last fed. I'm working on adding repeatable tasks such as cleaning a tank or administering medicine and want to add some form of scannable physical thing that we're able to add to each tank. Ideally, I would've loved to have little NFC stickers that I totally originally though of using for animal feeding and made it very, very easy, but this is a PWA and Apple hates PWAs I guess, so I'm working on letting users scan QR codes because those are generally easier to get people to scan.
- Sharing logs, people can see your regime or even allow for "guests" to log feeds while you're away from home.
- Repeatable tasks
- NFC scanning despite Apple making me very sad
- A real name, because "Animal Log" is not very catchy
- Grouping of animals for tanks that may have many of the same type of animal (i.e. frogs, fish)
