Suggestion for a new mode

[pattalium]

[Suggestion]
Almost every game has mass destruction weapons.
Why not make a mode with rocket launchers, miniguns, cannons, and other heavy weaponry?

[pelya]

It's already too easy to die in this game.

@pelya in this mode the player could have a lot more hp

[pelya]

How about Matrix mod? Slow bullets, slow rate of fire, huge slow explosions.

@pelya o shit.
If we can have a minigun, then its perfect :3

[pelya]

Laser rifle is pretty much the same thing, except that the bullets are not affected by gravity. Straight-firing bullet weapon with fast rate of fire and unlimited ammo, each bullet is weak though, and it's actually the weakest weapon in terms of damage per second. True minigun would need some other features to balance it, like, limited ammo of course, it starts firing with a delay, and you move slowly and jump poorly when firing it.

I'll rework the weapon system at some point, and could add new weapons then. :)

I don't want to add new modes at this point, I'd rather improve the existing ones and add new shared content to all modes.

[pelya]

What Ninslash needs is more active players. The game is pretty fun already, and Invasion can keep people playing a single match for more than a few minutes.

@SKSaki Btw, 0.3.1 is not compatible with 0.3.0, 0.3.2 won't be compatible with 0.3.1 etc.

Would you like to set up a hook / push notification for auto updating the server?

ps. If you use discord, join ninslash's channel.

[ObaniGemini]

@pelya : maybe the game would need more dedicated servers. Dedicated to invasion, dedicated to ctf etc... ?
Once you have a strong server, hosting a ninslash server is pretty simple and you can host multiple of them without a lag.

[pelya]

There's a voting menu on each server to switch game modes. Maybe it should be made more visible?
