Pull Request Description:
Gender-based violence (GBV) is widespread in Nigeria, but survivors often remain silent due to fear, stigma, or lack of trust in existing systems. There’s no safe, confidential, and efficient channel to report abuse or access medical and legal support.
Potential Impact?
SafeSpaces would provide survivors with a secure and anonymous platform to report abuse, access verified NGOs, counseling centers, and legal aid.
Measurable impacts:
30% increase in reported cases (improved confidence in reporting)
50% faster case handling through automated ServiceNow workflows
Data insights for policy and community interventions
Possible challenges
Maintaining trust and data privacy
Managing coordination among multiple NGOs and authorities
Ensuring cultural sensitivity and accessibility across regions
Additional Notes:
SafeSpaces empowers survivors to speak up safely while helping authorities act faster and smarter through technology-driven collaboration
