+## What I reviewed
+
+- `rustchain-poa/cli/run_validator.py` direct-run import path handling.
+- `rustchain-poa/api/poa_api.py` API entrypoint validator import handling.
+- `tests/test_poa_validator_entrypoints.py` subprocess regression coverage for running the CLI without external `PYTHONPATH`.
+
+## Specific observations
+
+1. The `Path(__file__).resolve().parents[1]` insertion targets the `rustchain-poa` package root, allowing the existing `validator.validate_genesis` import to resolve during direct script execution.
+2. The duplicate-path guard keeps repeated imports from adding redundant `sys.path` entries and preserves the normal package import behavior once the root is available.
+3. The subprocess regression covers the actual failure mode because it invokes the CLI from the repository root without pre-populating `PYTHONPATH`.

+
