A default Claude model without a 1M marker overrides marked role aliases, leaving direct sessions at a smaller context window. Add an independent Default model 1M checkbox immediately after the default-model field, following cc-switch #5124.
The control uses the existing TUI checkbox, Enter/Space actions, key hints and contextual
?help. Renaming preserves its declaration, clearing disables it, and existing marked values load correctly. Unedited configuration and role settings remain unchanged. Backend routing and context-window overrides are untouched.Validation: 1855 TUI tests passed in isolated configuration directories, including default-model load/save, independent toggles, renaming/clearing, cancel, template reset, help and rendering at 80/120 columns. Formatting and whitespace checks passed.
