Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14 or higher)
• MongoDB
• npm or yarn

Installation

1. Clone the repository

git clone <repository-url>
cd transactly

2. Install Frontend Dependencies

cd Frontend
npm install

3. Install Backend Dependencies

cd ../Backend
npm install

Running the Application

1. Start the Backend Server

cd Backend
npm run dev

The server will start on http://localhost:3000

2. Start the Frontend Development Server

cd Frontend
npm run dev

The application will be available at http://localhost:5173

API Endpoints

Authentication

• POST /auth/signup - Create a new account
• POST /auth/login - Login to existing account
• PUT /auth/update - Update user profile
• GET /auth/getUser - Get user profile

Account Management

• GET /account/balance - Get account balance
• POST /account/transfer - Transfer money between accounts
