There should be something in the software which can be adjusted when it stops recording. If I make a 5-second break, adjustable between 3 seconds, 1 second, and 10 seconds, but if I make a break in speaking, it should stop itself at a certain point.
You cannot restart it after it has done the work. It needs to do something in the background, which is fine in most of the cases, but in some cases you just quickly want to add one more sentence and you can't. That should be possible. How can it be made? You can simply go in and say, forget whatever transcription you did, save the file, and add this to it, and then do the transcription. So to speak, still keeping your afterthoughts or your cleanup phase, but in addition to. Allowing it simply to add a little sentence you forgot to say.
