I'm enjoying the .XMI fixes in 0.5.0 but noticed some instruments in eawpats are wrong now, like a triangle is replaced by flowing water. I don't want to release my game engine like that, so I looked into .sf2 files that I could distribute. GeneralUser GS is promising but WildMIDI plays some music files extremely loud, clipping output at 32768 which sounds crackly. WildMidi_MasterVolume() and WM_MO_LOG_VOLUME do nothing when the MIDI config is an .sf2 file.
(side issue but some songs like SUNNYDAY.XMI also hold a note for several seconds past the end only with .sf2)
sunnyday.zip
I'm not sure what to do other than revert to WildMIDI 0.4.6.
Edit: I'm able to workaround the eawpats issue by using gravis.cfg instead of timidity.cfg at the cost of missing a couple instruments.
