I am really curious on why you dropped the auto updater, would you mind to share the reason? |

Security and liability. The 'new' updater still displays a download link if a new version is available, but it will not download it on its own. So there is an additional defense against potentially compromised updates, as the user has to interact with a webpage and can judge if it's legit or not. I get that the updater is convenient, especially since myTeamSpeak seems to have gone dark. But I don't want to be responsible for it anymore. |
