Physicist & aspiring quantum software engineer, building research code at the intersection of neural networks and quantum many-body physics.
- 🔭 M.Sc. Physics, University of Waterloo / Perimeter Institute Associate Graduate Student (2024.09–2026.08) — advised by Robert Mann, co-advised by Tim Hsieh
- 🎓 B.Sc. Theoretical Physics, Nankai University (2020–2024)
- 🧠 Research interests: cluster states as a key resource for measurement-based quantum computation, how information is stored in quantum states, and what makes quantum states representable and learnable — by classical neural networks, by variational quantum methods like VQE, and under different tensor-network architectures
- ⚛️ Quantum circuits with PennyLane: variational circuits, cluster-state preparation, and measurement-based protocols
- 🛡️ Interested in fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC): error-correction schemes, quantum code design, and the graph theory behind them
- 💡 Recently drawn to photonic quantum computing, where measurement-based and fault-tolerant ideas meet real hardware
- 🛠️ Also building an engineering/embedded-systems portfolio (Arduino, ESP32) alongside physics
