Scan organic event

Triggered when an organic scan is made.

When using this event in the Speech responder the information about this event is available under the event object. The available variables are as follows:

  • {event.bodyId} - The numeric ID of the body where the organism was scanned

  • {event.minSampleDistance} - The minimum distance in meters that you need to travel before you can scan this organism again (if known)

  • {event.organic} - An object holding data about the organism currently being sampled

  • {event.organic.bonus} - The bonus credit value, as awarded when selling organic data. The bonus value is assumed to apply when a first footfall has been registered.

  • {event.organic.genus} - Genus details

  • {event.organic.genus.invariantName} - The invariant English name.

  • {event.organic.genus.localizedDescription} - the organic genus's localized description

  • {event.organic.genus.name} - The localized name.

  • {event.organic.invariantName} - The invariant name of the organic

  • {event.organic.localizedName} - The localized name of the organic

  • {event.organic.minimumDistanceMeters} - The minimum distance that you must travel before you can collect a fresh sample of this genus (if known)

  • {event.organic.species} - Species details

  • {event.organic.species.genus} - The genus for this species

  • {event.organic.species.genus.invariantName} - The invariant English name.

  • {event.organic.species.genus.localizedDescription} - the organic genus's localized description

  • {event.organic.species.genus.name} - The localized name.

  • {event.organic.species.invariantName} - The invariant English name.

  • {event.organic.species.localizedConditions} - the organic species's localized conditions

  • {event.organic.species.localizedDescription} - the organic species's localized description

  • {event.organic.species.name} - The localized name.

  • {event.organic.species.value} - The credit value for this species

  • {event.organic.value} - The base credit value, as awarded when selling organic data

  • {event.organic.variant} - Variant details

  • {event.organic.variant.invariantName} - The invariant English name.

  • {event.organic.variant.name} - The localized name.

  • {event.scanStage} - The numerical index of the scan type, if known (e.g. 1, 2, 3, or 4)

  • {event.scanType} - The type of scan (e.g. 'Log' for the 1st scan, 'Sample' for the 2nd and 3rd scans, and then 'Analyse' once the genetic sampler completes processing the samples)

  • {event.systemAddress} - The numeric ID of the star system where the organism was scanned

To respond to this event in VoiceAttack, create a command entitled ((EDDI scan organic)). VoiceAttack variables will be generated to allow you to access the event information.

The following VoiceAttack variables are available for this event:

  • {INT:EDDI scan organic body id} - The numeric ID of the body where the organism was scanned

  • {DEC:EDDI scan organic bonus} - The bonus credit value, as awarded when selling organic data. The bonus value is assumed to apply when a first footfall has been registered.
