Planned release: CMSIS 6.4.0 #322
Description
We are in the process of finalizing upcoming release CMSIS 6.4.0 by end of September.
If you have any urgent request what shall become part of this release please let us know in the comments, asap.
Preliminary change log
- CMSIS-Core: 6.4.0
- Added initial support for Armv8-A, Armv7-R, and Armv8-R profiles
- Added TI Arm Clang compiler support
- Added SCB Secure Fault Status and Secure Fault Address Register bitfield definitions; deprecated the corresponding SAU definitions
- Improved D-Cache disable handling and fixed MPU attribute handling
- Fixed TI Arm Clang program start definition
- CMSIS-Driver: 2.12.0
- Updated Ethernet API to 2.3.0 with Gigabit Ethernet support
- Updated MCI API to 2.5.0 with UHS-I voltage switching and re-tuning support

Potentially also #325 (PR still needs review). It enhances support for UHS-I memory cards in MCI driver API.

@copilot revisit the changes contributed into this repo since 6.3.0 release. Check if all documented changelogs (documentation) and versions (pdsc) have been consistently updated.
