YouTube video for this release : https://youtu.be/51g70FU_wlE

The most requested feature is here : "Drag and Drop tasks". Not only that but this version also have a very interesting feature, "Kanban Swimlanes". This is a very useful feature of the Kanban Methodology and Task Board has implemented it with its own twist using two new concepts, "Custom swimlanes" and "Aggregator swimlane". Read the docs to learn more about the Kanban Swimlanes feature.

New Features 🎁

• Drag and drop cards : Moving cards from one column to another will change/add the specific property on the task automatically. Make sure to have a consistent workflow to avoid any confusion while moving a task from two different types of columns. | FR : Drag and Drop Functionality for individual Task #5
• Kanban Swimlanes : With two different kinds of UIs, this plugin has its own unique flavor to this feature, maybe one of its kind, so you can configure the Swimlane view as per your workflow, the way you want. | Kanban Swimlanes - Task Board column sort by tag expansion #592
  • Custom sorting : Whatever your workflow maybe, configure the swimlane the way you want as well as the sorting can be manually set.
  • Aggregator swimlane : If you want to see only the important swimlanes on the top and rest should be grouped together? Enable this feature to group all the rest of the swimlanes as a single aggregator swimlane.
  • Exclude columns : Column types like "Untagged" doesnt make sense to have swimlanes. Easily exclude such selective columns from the swimlane UI. | [FR] Ability to exclude a column from swimlanes #674
• Custom date formats : This plugin now uses the date-fns library for all date related calculations, which means, now you can use your custom date formats for all the date specific properties.
• Card context menu : Task cards now has a right-click menu to access useful quick action utilities faster. Easy to change specific property of the task.
• Minimal Theme Alternate Checkbox Icons : This plugin will now going to use the Minimal theme alternate checkbox icons. Also, for consistency, the icons will be rendered inside the notes as well if no other theme or CSS snippet is already rendering those checkboxes.
• Exclude your inline checkbox items : Only the checkboxes which has been configured in the plugin settings under Properties > Custom statuses will be scanned by this plugin and rest of the checklist items will be ignored for inline-tasks. | Alternative checkboxes that are not task-related are shown in the Task Board panel #737
• A new option inside the Task Card Context menu to open the task editor.
• Auto scroll the Kanban view when a card is dragged and moved towards the edges of the Kanban view. | [FR] Improved Scrolling while Drag and Dropping #683
• A new Date-Time picker to choose the value for reminder property through the card context menu.
