libc6_2.35-0ubuntu3.9 packages was removes from mirrors.kernel.org

Hi,

Trying to install steam this afternoon I got this error:

/usr/local/steam-utils/bin/.utils.rb:206:in `block (2 levels) in download_debs': unable to download libc6_2.35-0ubuntu3.9_amd64.deb (RuntimeError)

After analyze I realize that the ubuntu3.9 packages where removed from mirrors.kernel.org.

The package list in bin/.dpkgs.rb seems up-to-date, so I will try to build a package from repo head,
but a new release is clearly required to keep steam install usable on FreeBSD.

Ubuntu packages are constantly being updated and subsequently yanked from its repos (usually due to security patches, which is arguably a good thing, but it's still an issue for us), so the code has been adjusted to copy the necessary libs from RL9 base. I'd appreciate it if you test whether it works as intended.

But in general, LSU is completely at odds with the ports system — things tend break with Steam updates several times per year with no prior notice and no possibility of rollback. Port updates take at least a week. And updates to quarterly are generally discouraged. So the port is broken way more often than it should be. (Enough that I don't pretend to maintain it anymore.)

With the new version the install succeed and I'm able to access my account and see my games but I was unable to start one of them no matter which compatibility configuration parameter I peek.

I need to educate myself a little bit more about steam .
Probably having a set of games who work (at least in previous versions) can probably help to evaluate fresh installs.
