When to use it

Use this capability when the column shape and .NET model should remain separated by explicit, reviewable configuration.

Example

How it works

FluentMap registers typed metadata and applies it through the matching materialization path. SQL, connections, parameters, and lifecycle remain responsibilities of the application and Dapper.

Current dependency contract

Dapper [2.1.89,3.0.0) 2.1.89
Dommel [3.5.3,4.0.0) 3.5.3

The Dapper range accepts compatible 2.x versions from the minimum onward; it does not pin exactly 2.1.89. Package metadata and this portal are checked against eng/compatibility-contract.json.
