help to upload the firmware to an M5StickCPlus2

Im trying to upload the firmware with arduino ide to my m5stickcplus2
i have done all the steps, but when I compile the code i get a lot of errors, I did it downloading the zip source code, changing the folder name to bruce and opening with arduino ide the bruce ino on the folder, i changed the #define for my device and i have done all the steps.
