The product MCP lives in this repository under mcp/; shared gateway routes live in lucci-xyz/mcp. Production Vercel project metascraper deploys from main and uses metascraper-photos. Sandbox project metascraper-sandbox uses a separate store. The public URLs are https://mcp.luccilabs.xyz/metascraper and https://sandbox.mcp.luccilabs.xyz/metascraper.
On 2026-09-27 the existing metascraper-sandbox Vercel project was Git-linked to this personal GitHub repository and main; the production project was already linked. The production project's autoAssignCustomDomains setting is now false, so Git builds stage until promoted, while sandbox deploys automatically from the same source commit. Commit 1de8e7f triggered sandbox dpl_F2f2Zk5aeABWoiDaFWhCkDbZV3HY, automatically assigned to metascraper-sandbox.vercel.app, and staged production dpl_6H6wtGczMA7sxg2D5oDv1isRAYrk. GitHub MCP CI and full live photo acceptance passed, including the large stream and cross-environment denial. The production domain remained on its previous deployment until dpl_6H6wtGczMA7sxg2D5oDv1isRAYrk was promoted; full acceptance passed again. See deployment instructions. A temporary sandbox branch created while investigating branch tracking was removed because both projects now use the same main commit with separate deployment and data environments.
On 2026-09-27 commit ad8e69b added the Lucci Labs PNG URL to MCP serverInfo.icons. Production deployed from main; sandbox backend deployment dpl_Ex2GryExz2YwHSL6k7pfKyf9Zaup was assigned the existing metascraper-sandbox.vercel.app alias. Both public MCP handshakes returned the correct environment logo URL. Full live synthetic photo acceptance passed in both environments, including the 6,303,684-byte streamed download and denied cross-environment access. The logo asset itself is owned by lucci-xyz/mcp and served by both gateways. Existing ChatGPT app avatars require their owner's Manage-menu update.
Before this restore, main lacked the MCP source and the production direct /mcp and shared /metascraper routes returned 404. Product-only source from feature branch codex/photo-metadata-mcp (e0b39d8) was merged through PR #8 as 1c33347; shared gateway files now belong in lucci-xyz/mcp. Existing PR #7 remains open and also contains VS Code extension changes that this restore does not include.
Local npm --prefix mcp ci && npm --prefix mcp run check passed: 29 tests, three opt-in Redis tests skipped. Production Git deployment dpl_GqXveFEYXaSF7NpGAStAP7BhVCHJ is ready. node mcp/scripts/verify-environments.mjs passed both environments with synthetic images, cross-environment denial and a 6,303,684-byte streamed download. Next: test a fresh ChatGPT connection and actual native widget behavior. Preserve the legacy connection until references are known.
