Unable to install new version

Please confirm the following.

• I checked the existing issues for duplicate problems
• I have tried resolving the issue using the support portal
• I have ensured my Modrinth App installation is up to date

When trying to install a newer version, says it will ask for permission to update a local found old version in the pc.
Before asking that a popup says (in my pc language) something and then says the download cant be completed.
Previous version was deleted using the uninstaller that came with it
