Use Cases

It is hard to tell which commands are specific for differents projects when you have lots of favorites and maven projects in the same workspace. It would be easier if the favorite alias is the only thing visible.

Suggested solution

• Introduce a new boolean setting, e.g. maven.explorer.favorite.showAliasOnly (default: false). When enabled, the Maven explorer renders only the alias for favorite commands. If a favorite has no alias, fall back to the full command.
• Optionally, add a toggle in the Maven explorer view context menu to switch alias-only mode on or off per workspace.
