Inconsistent naming of stubs

Not a big issue, but it might be a good idea to be consistent about using (or not using) the -stubs prefix for stubs in source code.
Unless there's an odd reason with Pylance integration I'm not aware of.

one with -stubs is, I believe, a partial stub packages (https://peps.python.org/pep-0561/#partial-stub-packages). we can make full stub packages as -stubs as well (https://peps.python.org/pep-0561/#stub-only-packages), but I believe for now, we kind of use -stubs to distinguish what packages are partial or not. since otherwise, we need to dig in and open py.typed file to see the package is partial or not.
